In my earlier years, I took pride in a classic and unique style tweaked to keep with the current fashion trends, and was generally regarded as a bit of a fashionista by my friends. Then came baby, and, for a while at least, all of that went out the window. The fact is, I found it hard to make time for my own appearance while taking care of our little one. I never degenerated completely to the fabled 'vomit-stained sweat suit', but I wasn't far away, people! This simply would not do. As I began to (slowly) update my wardrobe, I struggled with my new identity as both 'Me' and 'Mommy'. I wanted to document my progress, and, thus, this blog was born. I've also been told that the baby and I tend to coordinate - which makes sense: if I am dressing according to my mood, then I am probably also dressing her according to my mood - and I wanted a bit of proof to analyze. Also, I won't lie - usually I think she looks so cute in the tiny clothes that she seems to grow out of immediately that I wanted to document that, too. My final goal is for us to look good for as little money as possible, and share my sources with any interested parties. I hope you enjoy my clothing diary - be it for inspiration or a good giggle.
Oooh!!! Me likey, me likey!!!!
